Simone Biles revealed in a recent video that her luxury vehicle was stolen by three masked men during her final months in Chicago.
The Olympic gymnastics legend, who now lives in Texas, shared on TikTok Monday that she was heading out to get a new car — but not for just any reason.
“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” Biles said in the video.
She noted in the caption that the vehicle was eventually recovered, but said further details on what happened were a “story for another time.”
“The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she said. “It’d be really easy for producers to just film regularly. That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman.”
It’s not the first time Biles and her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, have been the target of a robbery.
Owens, who now plays for the Indianapolis Colts but at the time played for the Chicago Bears, said he was the target of an attempted robbery while visiting Milan during the Winter Olympics.
“Not somebody just tried to snatch my shopping bag in Milan, force of habit i had it tied around my hand so he couldn’t get it and took off running immediately….but still crazy,” Owens posted on X.
