Owners of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 16 models could be eligible for a payout as part of a proposed Apple class-action settlement, and the submission period for claims has opened as of Monday.
The lawsuit alleges Apple promised Siri and Apple Intelligence features that were not available on the devices, and violated consumer protection laws in a number of states. The disputed features included a more personalized Siri experience, awareness of on-screen content and the ability to perform multi-step tasks across a user’s app and interact with personal data, like searching your calendar and creating reminders.
Apple agreed to pay $250 million to settle the lawsuit to avoid the risks and costs associated with a trial, but denies all of the allegations and insists it did not do anything improper or unlawful. The settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing.
To qualify for a payout, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
-Be a U.S. resident
-Be the original purchaser of the device
-Purchased between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025
-Own one of the following devices

No payment date has been announced. Payments won’t be distributed until final approval is granted. A final approval hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027.
