Samuel Adams is ready for fall, welcoming the season with an all-new limited-edition brew.
As sweeter pumpkin ales and spiced cocktails made with Angry Orchard hard cider and Fireball whisky (also known as “Angry Balls“) begin to replace summertime favorites, the Boston brewing giant is offering beer enthusiasts the best of both flavor profiles with its latest drop.
Following the November 2025 release of its first new winter beer in three decades, Sam Adams is introducing another major first: its inaugural limited-edition Apple Spice Ale.
Samuel Adams Introduces New Apple Spice Ale—But Only in This Fall Variety Pack
Sam Adams’ Apple Spice Ale measures in at 5.0 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), so it’s about as strong as the average brew (and a drop in the bucket compared to Sam Adams’ “extreme” Utopia Beer).
Seemingly inspired by classic autumn staples like apple pie, spiced cider and apple butter, the new brew makes its official debut this month, and, just like the season itself, it won’t be sticking around long.

Samuel Adams Apple Spice Ale: A fruited ale with subtle sweetness (that the brand said is reminiscent of biting into a freshly picked apple) and a blend of seasonal spices, including cinnamon, gingersnap and marjoram.Like the Cold Brew Coffee Stout that Sam Adams launched last year, its new Apple Spice Ale is exclusive to a seasonal variety pack.
Those interested in sampling it will have to keep an eye out for the Fall Legends Variety Pack, which also includes Samuel Adams’ Octoberfest, its returning favorite and best-selling Jack-O pumpkin beer, and its Harvest Helles.
Samuel Adams Octoberfest (5.3% ABV): The #1 best-selling fall seasonal for 30+ years is a hearty, smooth Märzen with complex caramel and roasty malt notes, and a deep amber hue. A true fall legend worth celebrating. Samuel Adams Jack-O (4.4% ABV): This refreshing ale blends real pumpkin with seasonal spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, all balanced by a subtle hint of fresh citrus. Harvest Helles (5.4% ABV): A crisp, easy-drinking lager, exclusive to the Fall Legends Variety Pack, that features bright notes of citrus, stone fruit and cereal with light to medium body. Also launching for the first time this year is a non-alcoholic version of its iconic Octoberfest lager, which the brand promises has the same legendary taste, just with no alcohol (contains less than 0.5% ALC./VOL).
Samuel Adams Fall Legends variety packs and its new non-alcoholic Jack-O are expected to be available wherever you typically find your 12 and 24-packs of Sam Adams now (if not, in the coming weeks; prices may vary). To locate it at a store near you, try the brand’s official product finder.
