The floor has fallen from beneath Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) feet in Emmerdale, following a mammoth revelation from Sadie King (Patsy Kensit).
Earlier this month, the character returned to pay her respects to late husband Jimmy (Nick Miles), who had perished in a devastating car crash. It soon became apparent that she had an ulterior motive, and is currently searching for a wad of cash that Jimmy had promised her.
She claims – to his grieving wife Nicola King's (Nicola Wheeler) horror – that they had spent the last three years together.
On the surface, Sadie appears to be equally as devastated to learn that Jimmy was leading a double life, though given who is making this claims, there's every possibility that they're not true.
In today's episode, the soap super bitch came face-to-face with her Home Farm predecessor and current occupant, Kim Tate (Claire King). Long-standing resident Eric Pollard (Christopher Chittell) watched from the sidelines, comparing the women to Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), on the other hand, thought they were more like Madonna and Kylie.
A war of words was exchanged, with both women finally turning away from one another. Pollard laughed at the encounter, though warned Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) that she should keep a close eye on husband Cain (Jeff Hordley).
Sadie and Cain go way back, having engaged in an affair during her original village stint. They planned to fake her death and steal money from the King clan, but he left her to depart along and bagged the £2m for himself.

Sure enough, Sadie came banging on the door of Wishing Well Cottage in the latest instalment, wanting to know where the cash had gone. Cain smirked, knowing that it was long-gone and would never be recoverable.
When he asked her to leave, she revealed that she planned to bury the hatchet and confess to something that had happened to her 20 years ago. Sadie explained that, just days after she last saw Cain, she discovered that she was pregnant with his daughter.
Unfortunately, she had lost the child and she later came to accept that parenthood wasn't for her.
Cain was clearly stunned by the revelation, and decided to hear her out. However, the conversation was soon interrupted by Moira.
Later that day, as Sadie sipped a drink in The Woolpack, Moira barged in and warned her to stay away from her husband. She said that, given his prostate cancer diagnosis, he could do without Sadie meddling in his business.
Sadie had no idea about the cancer, and promised Moira that she had no intentions of trying to lure him into bed.
