The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Whitney Leavitt is speaking out for the first time since her husband, Conner, was eliminated first on Dancing With the Stars.
The Tuesday, Sept. 15, premiere episode saw Conner and his professional dance partner, Adele Zaikman, eliminated after they scored a 12 out of 30 for their Salsa to “Whoomp! There It Is!” by Tag Team.
The elimination came during the first night of the two-night premiere. The female celebrities and their professional dance partners will perform on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
On Wednesday, Whitney took to Instagram to pay tribute to Conner’s short-lived time on season 35. Whitney herself competed on DWTS last year, placing sixth with her partner, Mark Ballas.
“Conner, I am so proud of you ? I hope you never let this ending take away from what you just did,” the Broadway star wrote alongside a photo of the pair in Conner’s DWTS trailer. “You stepped so far outside of your comfort zone, worked your ass off, put yourself out there, and went for it. People can have their opinions, but I know you. They’ve only seen a fraction of what you’re capable of. And I can’t wait for them to find out!”
“I hope this lit a fire in you! Keep saying yes. Keep putting yourself out there. Keep going after the things that scare you,” she added. “F–k the noise and go after whatever you want next baby! Sedona, Liam and Billy are so proud of their dad ? I’m so proud and lucky to be your wife, and I hope you’re so fucking proud of yourself too! This is just the beginning, babe ?.”

Conner and Whitney have been married since 2016—and renewed their vows for their 10-year anniversary this summer—and share three children: Sedona, 6, Liam, 4, and Billy, 1.
The second night of the DWTS premiere will air on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
