What happened
Joeseph Petrella was arrested and accused of killing his mother, Amy Hogan, on Sunday. Deputies were originally in the area for reports of a burglary when they started talking with Petrella to learn more. Petrella invited deputies into his trailer, where they grew suspicious and eventually found Hogan.
Deputies say the two lived in the trailer together, but Petrella was “in and out” often.

New Information
On Wednesday, a criminal complaint obtained by News10NBC claims Hogan was found in the bathtub wrapped in a plastic shower curtain with frozen items packed around her. The court paperwork says this was Petrella’s attempt at concealing the body.
The paperwork says Petrella stabbed Hogan multiple times in her torso.
