ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’re looking for whoever fired shots on North Street near Merrimac Street early Tuesday morning.
A driver told staff at Rochester General Hospital that the gunfire nearly hit the car. RPD responded to North Street after getting a ShotSpotter alert just before 1 a.m. Soon, they learned that a car had driven to RGH after being shot at, but no one inside was hit or injured.
RPD says no suspects are in custody yet, and it’s asking anyone with information to call 911.
