ARCADIA, N.Y. — State Police say a 17-year-old boy has died after a motorcycle crash Sunday in Wayne County.
It happened at around 12:25 a.m. Sunday on Wood Lane in the Town of Arcadia. State Police say the 17-year-old was riding his motorcycle west on Wood Lane when it left the roadway and went into the ditch.
State Police say the boy was found in the tree line near the motorcycle. Emergency responders performed lifesaving measures at the scene before the boy was brought to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The investigation into the crash remains open.
