India National Cricket Team captain Shreyas Iyer has opened up about his relationship with the head coach Gautam Gambhir after his poor start as the skipper ahead of the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, starting on September 13 in Delhi.

Iyer further explained, “So, I think all this alignment is very important when it comes to coaching skills, and he's got an amazing one-on-one player management approach. So that is essential going forward in the tournament, when you have that kind of relationship with every player, because all of us are different in our own ways and you need to understand a certain player.”
