A baby girl died after she was found unresponsive and with injuries on Chicago’s far North Side on Saturday, police said.
Around 11:40 a.m., police said an unresponsive 1-year-old girl was found with visible injuries to her lower body on the 2600 block of West Rosemont Avenue in the city’s West Rogers Park neighborhood.
She was transported to a local hospital, where she was initially listed in critical condition before she was pronounced dead, police said.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
