SANTA MARIA, Calif. (KEYT) – The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a shooting after helping a 34-year-old man to the hospital just past midnight Saturday.
SMPD officers arrived at the 2400 block of North Baldwin and found a the man suffering from a gunshot wound.
SMPD officers then contacted people at the scene and found no ongoing threat to the public or additional victims.
This remains an active investigation, and anyone with more information is asked to contact the following number.
