Brandi Glanville finally has answers in her ongoing health battles, but the former Real Housewives star’s medical bills continue to mount.
Glanville, 53, launched a GoFundMe to raise money ahead of her treatment and surgeries with a goal of $28,000.
“For the past three years, RHOBH Alum, Brandi Glanville has been fighting an illness that has completely changed her life. She has gone from doctor to doctor searching for answers while her health continued to decline. Now, after years of uncertainty, she finally has diagnoses and a treatment plan, but the road ahead is long, painful and incredibly expensive,” the fundraiser page states.
Glanville was officially diagnosed wit ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.
According to the GoFundMe, doctors discovered a fungal ball in her face that needs to be removed. The mother of two has already been enduring months of treatment, including daily IV medication for 12 hours per day. She’s also preparing for multiple surgeries to remove the fungal ball, old dental work and her breast implants.
Despite having health insurance, Glanville is reportedly accruing upwards of $6,000 per month in medical bills, not including upcoming expenses for the surgeries.
Shortly after the fundraiser was launched, fellow Real Housewives alum chipped in to help financially.
Kyle Richards donated $500 to her friend, while Claudia Jordan gave $100, and Camille Grammer donated $200.
“I remember when she sent me flowers when I had my hysterectomy for uterine cancer. I thought that was very sweet of her,” Grammer told TMZ on Saturday, September 12. “I wanted to return the favor, and I feel bad for what she’s going through.”
