With this, Manav Suthar became only the second bowler in First-Class cricket history to take at least one wicket in both innings without giving away a single run. Before the 26-year-old spinner, England’s Tom Hayward had achieved the same feat way back in 1895.

Manav Suthar’s stunning season continues as Warwickshire eye county title
Suthar has been in excellent form with the ball this season. He made a dream Test debut against Afghanistan and finished with seven wickets, including a six-wicket haul. He then continued his good run in Sri Lanka, taking 16 wickets in two Test matches.
His county numbers have been equally impressive. Suthar has picked up 21 wickets in eight innings at an average of 19.19 for Warwickshire and has already taken a five-wicket haul against Somerset.
He also contributed with the bat, scoring 123 runs in five innings at an average of 24.60 with the top score of 37. With Warwickshire fighting for the County Championship title, Suthar is expected to play their final two matches against Essex and Leicestershire.
The Bears are currently top of Division One with 184 points from 12 matches. They are 11 points ahead of second-placed Somerset as the County Championship title race reaches its final stage.
