Love Island 2026 star teases potential All Stars appearance following break-up

Love Island 2026 star Aidan Murphy has addressed whether he'd return to the villa for All Stars, following his split from Priya Jaswal earlier this week.

Aidan had quite the journey on the Love Island this summer, but never quite found his perfect match, until he and Priya decided to make a go of things romantically.

Despite plenty of Islanders dismissing their romance, the pair tried their friends to lovers arc, but sadly it didn't last very long outside of the villa walls.

In a joint statement shared on Instagram, the pair said they realised they were "better suited as friends" and will "always be grateful for the time we've spent together".

Aidan wished Priya the best, writing: "I have nothing but love and respect for Priya and wish her nothing but the very best for everything that's to come."

Following their statement, Aidan attended the National Television Awards and spoke to Radio Times about their split, admitting there wasn't "much to say".

"Being in the villa and outside the villa are two very different things. Being in the villa is almost like a little bubble and coming out, obviously being in the public, families and stuff like that, we were very much trying to navigate that," he said.

"We were gonna give it a go [but] more recently we were kind of understanding that maybe this is just friends and maybe we should kind of leave it at that."

He continued: "But we gave it a shot, and that's all we can do. But I love Priya. I think she's great, and I wish her nothing but the best."

Priya shared a similar sentiment, telling Radio Times: "I think with me and Aidan, we're on such good terms still.

"We had such lovely memories inside and outside of the villa, and it just felt like if it wasn't gonna progress into a relationship, then it's better to just call it a day in terms of the dating side, and continue being friends and having the love for each other that we did."

Now officially single, the question was posed to Aidan whether we could see him on All Stars next year, to which he said: "I have declined for now because I wanna keep you lot on your toes!

" Maybe yes, maybe no! I don't know yet."
