Legendary Chicago pizzeria Lou Malnati’s is opening a new restaurant in the western suburbs.
The restaurant, at 3050 E. Main St. in St. Charles, will take the space of a former eatery in the area’s new Fox Haven Square development. According to a release, the restaurant will be Lou Malnati’s 71st location.
The 6,200 square-foot restaurant is set to open this fall and includes a full dining room, full service bar, outdoor patio and private dining area. Carry-out and delivery will also be available.
“We’ve had customers from St. Charles asking us to open a location here for years,” Julie Younglove-Webb, CEO of Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria said in a release announcing the restaurant earlier this year. “The growth and redevelopment happening on the east end of the city makes this the perfect time, and we can’t wait to bring people together over Deep Dish in this community with a full-service restaurant.”
As part of the opening, Lou Malnati’s plans to hire 100 employees including bartenders, servers cooks and phone staff of all experience levels. Walk-in interviews will take place next week through early October at the Courtyard Marriott in St. Charles while the restaurant remains under construction.
