Final Midday Bash of the season
Wednesday marks the season’s final Midday Bash at Parcel 5. The free event brings food trucks, music, massage chairs, outdoor games, and more to downtown Rochester.
Midday Bash runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The food truck lineup includes 546 Waffles & Chicken, Chef’s Mobile Kitchen, Cookie Coma, K.O.B.Q., Meat the Press, Melt Food Truck, Roc Bowlevard, and Roll N Deep. You can learn more here.
End of Summer Bash
Tropix at the Beach on Lake Avenue is holding a free concert to celebrate the end of summer. PrimeTime Brass will perform at the lounge and eatery from 6 to 9 p.m. You can learn more here.
It’s been a busy summer for live music in the Charlotte Beach area, with the 39th year of Concerts by the Shore and the return of the Jazz on the Beach series.
Free pet adoption events
Rochester Animal Services is hosting two pet adoption events on Wednesday and is waiving adoption fees on select dates throughout October.
Adoptable dogs will visit the community throughout a series of special adoption events. The first one will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. during the Red Wings game at ESL Ballpark on Wednesday. There will also be an event from noon to 6 p.m. that same day at the shelter on Verona Street.
