Winter Juniors Qualifier Brooke Quinn Commits To Richmond For 2027

    Brooke Quinn of Williamsburg, Virginia has announced her verbal commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at Richmond beginning in fall 2027.

    “I am so beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Richmond!     Quinn swims for 757swim and most recently competed Futures in Greensboro. There she was 38th in both the 200 (2:14.49) and 400 (4:39.55) freestyles. Earlier this summer, she swam a lifetime best 17:57.28 1500 free at the Pro Series in Indianapolis.

    This past spring, Quinn had a strong showing at the Virginia Senior Championships. There she swam to lifetime bests in the 200 (1:51.16), 500 (4:56.88), and 1650 (16:59.76) freestyles. She enters her senior season with Jamestown High School this winter where she swam a 2:04.83 200 IM and a 1:04.62 100 breast for 3rd at the 2026 VHSL Class 4 State Championship back in February.

    Quinn’s Best SCY Times Are:

    1650 free: 16:59.76 500 free: 4:56.88 200 free: 1:51.16

    The Richmond women captured the 2026 Atlantic-10 Championship, scoring 600 points. Presley Baber led the team with 53 individual points including a win in the 100 free with a 49.84.

    Based on her best times, Quinn already has the potential to make an immediate impact at the conference level. Her best time in the 1650 free would have been 8th while her 500 free is on the border of the ‘A’ and ‘B’ final. Richmond was 4th, 5th, and 6th in the 1650 free with Natalie Stuart (16:49.03), Erin Budde (16:55.17), and Kaitlyn Bauer (16:56.81).

    Quinn will arrive next fall as a member of the class of 2031 along with Harper Lucas, Eleanor Hardy, Savannah Nelson, Hailey Rittenhouse, and Jules Swatland.
