Sony’s State of Play livestream this week has unveiled two limited-edition GTA 6 PS5 DualSense controllers, just when we thought we couldn't get any more excited.
GTA 6 is easily turning out to be the biggest game of 2026, and with its release date of 19 November just on the horizon, it’s no wonder that the game is receiving limited-edition hardware.
And after GTA 6: An Extended Look premiered on Netflix last week and bought in 31.1 million viewers globally after just four days, it definitely makes sense that Sony would want to capitalise on such huge hype with these tie-ins.
If you’re looking to get your hands on these limited-edition controllers, then here is everything that you need to know.
When are the GTA 6 PS5 controllers available?
The controllers will be available starting from GTA 6’s launch date on 19 November 2026.
However, if you want to ensure you don’t miss out, pre-orders are starting soon on 10 September 2026 at 10am in the UK.
Players will be able to pre-order their controllers via PlayStation direct, but in limited quantities according to the PlayStation blog.
And if you pre-order directly from PlayStation, you can enjoy free launch day delivery – so bear that in mind!
How much will the GTA 6 PS5 controllers cost?
The two controllers will both retail at the same price of £74.99 – which is not much of a difference in comparison to a standard DualSense controller, which retails on PlayStation Direct for £64.99.
The £74.99 price point matches that of other limited-edition PS5 hardware, including Marvel’s Wolverine DualSense controllers.

Taking inspiration from Vice City, the two controllers feature palm tree patterns, but one comes in white while the other comes in black.
Both editions have a colour-shifting finish to reflect Leonida sunsets and Vice City’s neon nightlife, with pink detailing on the buttons.
The palm tree detailing is also moulded directly onto the controller, giving a tactile finish.
Of course, the editions are both complete with GTA 6 branding in the centre of the controller, making them instantly recognisable.
