ROCHESTER, N.Y. — HOPE585 hosted a fundraiser on Thursday toward creating a new home for young women as they transition toward independent adulthood.
The fundraiser at The Arbor Loft included stories of the impact of the organization, food, and a live auction. HOPE585’s work includes family preservation, foster care support, and youth mentorship, and it served more than 1,200 people in the Rochester area last year.
The funds raised at the event will help to support the new transitional living home and other programs and services. Last year, the organization invested more than $102,000 directly into supporting families.
