While The Gentlemen is particularly focused on Theo James's character, Eddie Horniman, it features a vast ensemble cast, including the likes of Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson and Giancarlo Esposito.
The series also stars two iconic 'hard men' actors, Vinnie Jones and Ray Winstone, with the former playing Eddie's loyal groundskeeper Geoff and the latter playing the head of a cannabis empire, Bobby Glass.
Sadly, as of yet, the two have yet to share the screen, a trend which continues in season 2. However, Jones has revealed that there was a planned scene between the duo, which was cut.
Speaking exclusively with Radio Times, alongside Winstone and Esposito, Jones spoke about his character's loyalty to the Horniman family, while Winstone noted that Geoff straddles two worlds - the aristocracy and the criminals.
Jones said: "There's a scene which we never did in the end, where Geoff goes to the prison to see you [Bobby] - which never got done but it was being spoken about. He is that go-between, and he's got that respect that Bobby would listen to him, Eddie would listen to him, like, 'Okay, Geoff.'"
"I think he's got some history, some past, don't he?," Winstone added, to which Jones said: "Yeah, and Bobby would know that."
"And respect that, yeah," Winstone said, while Jones said "he would know it because of the way Geoff's talking as well."
Winstone then teased that "maybe that will come" in season 3, before adding "If I'm back for 3."
Jones then joked that he would "have a word" with his old pal, the show's creator Guy Ritchie, and "see what I can do."
Alongside the returning characters, season 2 also introduces a host of new, crucial figures, with actors Benedetta Porcaroli, Hugh Bonneville and Maya Jama amongst those joining the ensemble.
