“I thought that you had outed me to the newspapers,” Megan admitted to Bri. “That’s not something that I could be a bigger person and be like, ‘Well, you know, it happened. It’s fine.’ That would just be it.”
Meanwhile, an incredulous Bri exclaimed, “Give me a break. That’s so f—ed up! I did not contact a single reporter. That’s a pretty f—ing nefarious plan.”
Megan replied, “I felt like it was only fair, since we’re being open, that I tell you that it did cross my mind.”
‘Double Lives of Suburban Wives’: Megan Reveals Why Friendship With Bri Fell Apart (Exclusive Clip) (2:00)During a joint conversation with producers, Bri confessed, “I am hurt, just playing back the friendship. Like, when you were going through the lowest points of your life, I welcomed you into my home. I kicked my husband out of our bed and made him sleep on the couch so you had a safe place to sleep next to me in bed.”
She continued, “I cared about you so much and would have done anything for you. For that to just be put to the wayside and me accused of something disgusting sucks.”
To Megan, she said. “I feel super hurt. This is where we stand, I guess,” before adding to producers, “It just feels like a stab in the back.”
Megan then acknowledged, “I guess moving forward, it’s just, in my mind, it is what it is.”
Additionally, Bri shared, “It’s even more frustrating for you to sit here and say, ‘It is what it is,’ and take no accountability or apologize. You’re dragging my name through the mud for something that I never did. I’m being thrown under the bus. This is something you put out there that now I have to deal with. And you don’t care.”
To end the clip, Bri said, “Megan was my best friend. So yeah, this feels like a slap in the face.”
