Even if that is at the root of why there isn’t a done deal between the Bears and Illinois officials, the fact that nothing has been resolved on the stadium front means that the team sticking around could still be in play.
The 2026 NFL season begins in 17 days. And once the season kicks off, our full focus will be on what happens on the field. Hopefully, any stadium news that drops during the season will provide something of substance. Hey, a guy can dream … right?
