ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Thursday, around 2:30 p.m., Rochester police officers responded to Exchange Street for a report of someone stabbed.
When officers got to the scene, they reported that a 23-year-old Rochester woman was stabbed at least once in the upper body with a car key. Police added that the victim has non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
A 48-year-old Rochester woman was taken into custody, police also reported. Later, police confirmed that the 48-year-old woman was the suspect, and she was charged with assault in the second degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Police explained the victim’s car was damaged in the incident.
