Gervon Dexter Sr., defensive tackle — Days after trade rumors involving Dexter surfaced, his missing from practice raised some eyebrows. But for anyone trying to connect the dots and frame Dexter’s absence as a sign he was on the move, news of Dexter’s hamstring injury will silence those whispers (at least for the moment). For what it’s worth, Dexter has been pretty durable throughout the first three years of his pro career. A second-round pick (53rd overall) in the 2023 NFL Draft, Dexter has played in 49 of a possible 51 reagular-season games since joining the team. He set career-highs in sacks (6) and tackles-for-loss (6) last season. Should he remain with the team, a healthy Dexter is expected to be a key piece in the defensive line rotation.
