Around 1:30 p.m., American Airlines flight 3280 bound for Charlotte from Chicago blew two tires while taxiing for departure at O’Hare, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Passengers exited the plane via its stairs and were bused to the terminal, the FAA said.
Video posted to social media showed firefighters boarding the plane on the tarmac. At least one of the flat tires could also be seen in the video.
