We continue our look around the Central Division today with the St. Louis Blues. They have a new general manager as former player Alexander Steen was elevated to replace Doug Armstrong. The Blues got busy in the trade market this summer to change their forward mix, and were able to add a veteran defenseman as well.
Trade rumors swirled around St. Louis last year, with Jordan Kyrou, Robert Thomas, Colton Parayko and Jordan Binnington all linked to other teams at some point. Only one of those four has been moved thus far. And the additions made this summer would suggest at least Thomas is likely to stay put moving forward.
