Mere days after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill launched their new Doctor Who podcast, The Pondcast, they have now revealed a wishlist for guests they would want to have on - and there's no surprise as to who's at the top.
Speaking in the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, Gillan said that "We must get Matt Smith!", to which Darvill said with certainty that "We will get Matt, and we have spoken to Matt about it".
Smith played the 11th Doctor between 2010 and 2013 (with a brief cameo in 2014), while Gillan and Darvill played his initial companions, married couple Amy Pond and Rory Williams.
Gillan confirmed that Smith "keeps saying he's coming on" and "we just need to lock it down", but the duo both agreed that it would have to be done in person, that they would do it at Darvill's house and that it would be "so fun!".
"He said he's up for it," Darvill said, before adding that he's also "spoken to Alex Kingston about it".
Kingston played River Song, the Doctor's sometime companion (and wife!) who also happened to be the time-travelling daughter of Amy and Rory.
In June, it was confirmed that Kingston and Darvill will be reprising their roles as River and Rory for a new audio adventure, which is set to be released in January 2027.

Darvill suggested that "no one would get a word in edge-ways," and that they would have to achieve it by re-enacting the Hollywood Reporter roundtable format.
We already know one guest that is confirmed to appear on The Pondcast, with former showrunner Steven Moffat set to take part.
Moffat was in charge of the show for the entirety of Smith's era, as well as for all of Peter Capaldi's. He has also written episodes for Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor, David Tennant's Tenth and Ncuti Gatwa's 15th.
