Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ 20th Anniversary Edition Will Unearth Unreleased Music

The 20th Anniversary edition of Amy Winehouse’s iconic album Back to Black is set to release later this year and will include some incredible extras, including unreleased demos by the late singer.

On the singer’s website, the ‘Back to Black 20: Deluxe 3CD’ is set to be released on October 23, and will feature original studio album, 4 unreleased demos, rare B-sides, demos and bonus tracks, and the notable live performance from Paradiso, Amsterdam (February 8th 2007) from the Back To Black tour.

    It will also include new cover art as well as Winehouse’s handwritten lyrics, never-before-seen photos by original album photographers Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, and notes from producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.

    The first disc will include her songs Rehab, You Know I’m No Good, Me & Mr Jones, Just Friends, Back To Black, Love Is A Losing Game, Tears Dry On Their Own, Wake Up Alone, Some Unholy War, He Can Only Hold Her, and Addicted. As for the second, it will be B Sides, Bonus Tracks & Demos, such as Valerie (Live at BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge), Cupid, Monkey Man, Hey Little Rich Girl, You’re Wondering Now, To Know Him Is To Love Him, You Know I’m No Good (feat. Ghostface Killah), Do Me Good, Close To The Front, Rehab (Demo Version), I’m No Good (You Know I’m No Good – Original Demo), F–kery (Me & Mr Jones – Original Demo), I’ve Been Drinkin’ (Just Friends – Alternative Version), Back To Black (Original Demo), Love Is A Losing Game (Original Demo), Tears Dry (Alternative Demo), and Some Unholy War (Down Tempo). And then lastly, the third cd is Live From Paradiso Amsterdam / February 8th 2007 which has Addicted, Just Friends, Tears Dry On Their Own, Cherry, F–k Me Pumps, He Can Only Hold Her / Doo Wop (That Thing), I Heard Love Is Blind, Wake Up Alone, Back To Black, You Know I’m No Good, Me & Mr Jones, Rehab, Love Is A Losing Game, and Valerie.

    Winehouse’s Back to Black album won five Grammy Awards, including Record and Song of the Year for Rehab. The singer tragically passed away on July 23, 2011, from alcohol poisoning.
