Crime drama Professor T is showing no signs of slowing down.
Season 4 is currently airing in the UK, while season 5 has already been filmed as the cast and crew look towards season 6.
"It's a very exciting situation to be in," lead Ben Miller said previously of its continuation.
Speaking about why he thinks the show continues to pull in strong ratings, he explained: "On the most basic level, it's a great whodunnit each week, and it’s a really good mystery show.
"The weekly story is always fascinating because we're coming from a slightly different place which is an understanding of criminal psychology. Psychology is a big theme of the show, and it’s a very deep subject which covers almost everything, like grief and loss and trauma."
With vast praise for the show's "great stories and wonderful characters with really well-developed stories," Miller exclaims, "there's a lot more going on than just Professor T. There’s a depth to it."

Professor T season 5 release date speculation: When could it air?
Season 5 has already wrapped filming and will likely air in the US, on PBS, later this year.
"It is coming back... We've got season 5 that will hopefully be coming out in the autumn," said Miller.
But UK fans, who are currently enjoying season 4, will likely have to wait until 2027. But given the variety of release dates so far, it's hard to pin down exactly when.

"Without giving too much away, the end of series four is a very cathartic moment for Dan, the beginning of processing his love for Lisa and her loss," said White.
"In the fifth series, he's not back to his old self: I think something like that changes someone forever. But we find him more at ease with himself, a bit less work-focused, and there’s something of a romantic storyline. It’s him being able to live his life again without this ghost haunting him."
It also sounds like Adelaide might be joining from afar, but thankfully "Zelda has promised her sister that she will continue to help Jasper and it has become her mission", teased Wanamaker.
"So I'm excited for viewers to see how that unfolds in the next series."
