ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Another school supplies giveaway is happening Sunday in Rochester.
Starting at 2 p.m. until supplies last, People’s Choice Kitchen and Service the Community Inc. will be giving out free backpacks and school supplies in the Family Dollar parking lot on Thurston Road.
The organization says this annual event helps local children start the school year prepared and ready to succeed.
Supplies will be given out on a first come, first serve basis Sunday.
