ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ll start the weekend similar to how we ended the work week – with some sunshine and dry weather. Temperatures Saturday morning will start off in the mid and upper 50s. So it’ll be another comfortable night and start to the day.
The morning hours will feature a mostly sunny sky with temperatures climbing into the lower 80s by early afternoon. Some clouds will begin to move in during the afternoon hours, but aside from a stray shower or two, the afternoon should remain dry. Our rain and thunder chances will begin to go up around dinner-time, with rain and thunder likely after sunset. So, if you have daytime plans Saturday, rain shouldn’t have much of an impact.
Rain and storms slowly move in Saturday night, with most of the activity happening overnight, and moving out by Sunday morning as our cold front moves away. That being said, an upper level low will slowly meander overhead on Sunday, keeping our weather unsettled. This means we’ll see off and on showers, some thunder and a noticeable wind on Sunday. Temperatures will also be a little cooler with highs in the mid 70s.
Some showers and cooler air will linger into Monday, before moving away by Tuesday. Temperatures will begin to rebound a bit by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, before our next cold front and push of early fall air move back in late next week and into the start of next weekend.
