SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — A corrections officer at the Seneca County Correctional Facility is facing charges as the Seneca County Sheriff says he inappropriately touched two inmates.
Rocco Bilancini, 47, is charged with two counts of forcible touching. According to the sheriff, on Aug. 4, Bilancini touched two inmates in an “inappropriate, unprofessional manner.”
He was arraigned at Seneca County CAP Court and is scheduled to reappear at the Romulus Town Court at a later date.
The sheriff says Bilancini is on unpaid leave effective immediately and is “being dealt with in accordance with departmental policy, applicable laws, and collective bargaining agreements.”
