ROCHESTER, N.Y. — News10NBC’s team and the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester are getting ready to collect school supplies on Friday as children are gearing up for a new school year.
Our “Big Give” runs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at ESL Ballpark. People can donate backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and any other school supplies to benefit the Boys & Girls Club. It comes as research groups warn about the rising costs of back-to-school, with families estimated to spend $864 on supplies and clothes.
