It's been a dramatic end to the week for Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) in EastEnders.
Poor Priya had spent the evening prior in the loos of The Queen Vic. She wasn't feeling too well, had vomited all over Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) during her hen do, and then took a pregnancy test.
Given her affair with Max Branning (Jake Wood) for months, she has no idea whether the baby is his, or her ex-boyfriend Ravi Gulati's (Aaron Thiara).
To make matters even more awkward, Ravi proposed to her earlier this week.
In today's episode, an unsettled and nervous Priya sat alone in the Square Gardens, and was quickly noticed by confidante Jean Slater (Gillian Wright). She's the only one who knows about her relationship with advice, and despite being firmly against it, has dealt some sound advice.
Priya confessed to her pregnancy, and during their conversation, decided that she was going to have a termination. After booking into a clinic she met with Max, who urged her to accept Ravi's proposal and have her own slice of happiness.
However, the pair were soon distracted by an unwell Penny, who was struggling to breathe and coughing up blood. Earlier that morning, she'd ignored boyfriend Vinny Panesar's (Shiv Jalota) concerns, after he realised her leg was swollen.
She was adamant that nothing was going to get in the way of her clothes shop opening, and despite her pregnancy, wasn't going to go to the doctors.
In Vinny's absence, Penny fell out of her wheelchair and was later found by his mum Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal).
With the crowds gathering outside of Pretty Penny on the Turpin Road Plaza for its opening, Vinny was alarmed when she failed to show. Suddenly, a call from Max came through, and he raced to the hospital.
Doctors explained that Penny had a blood clot, though fortunately, both she and the baby were fine. She promised Vinny that in future she'd let her guard down, and allow him to care for her.
Back on the Square, a tearful Priya was guided home by Jean. The events of the day had clearly weighed heavy on her, and this cemented to her that she wanted to keep her unborn child.
She even asked Ravi to pop the question again.
Is Priya making a dangerous mistake?
