The 6-foot-2, 222-pound junior most recently played last season at Syracuse after spending his first 2 seasons at LSU. Collins played in more games for Syracuse last season (7) than altogether at LSU (4). However, the Baton Rouge native passed for 1,042 yards with 6 touchdowns and 10 interceptions during an uneven season for the Orange.

Kennesaw State is coming off a 10-4 season as Conference USA champions in Jerry Mack’s first season at the helm. It was the first winning season for the Owls since going 11-2 under Brian Bohannon in their final year in the Big South Conference.
