The University of Missouri is the latest Power 4 program undergoing a restructuring on its coaching staff. Head coach Andrew Grevers will take the title Director of Swimming and Diving for the upcoming season, his 8th with the program as head coach.
Grevers has been with the coaching staff since 2010 when he originally joined as an assistant coach and held that title until 2017 when he was promoted to associate head coach for the 2017-2018 season. He then served the 2018-2019 season as interim head coach before being named head coach in 2019.
With Grevers taking the title of Director of the programs, associate head coach Alec Hayden will take on the title of Head Coach of Swimming. Grevers has been with the program the last seven seasons as well.
Andrew Sansoucie has been promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach and has been a member of the coaching staff since 2022-2023. Sansoucie spent his collegiate career at Missouri, swimming for the program from 2014-2017. Assistant coach Kate McCarville enters her 2nd season on the staff and adds recruiting coordinator to her title.
Missouri is the latest Power 4 program to restructure its coaching staff to having a Director of the program. Other examples include Bob Bowman who serves as Director of Swimming and Diving at Texas, Kelly Kremer who serves as Director at Minnesota, and Blaire Bachman who serves as Director at Texas A&M.
The Missouri women finished 10th out of 13 teams while the men finished 10th out of 11 teams at the 2026 SEC Championships. The women’s program sent six athletes to the 2026 NCAA Championships while the men finished 28th at the 2026 NCAA Championships with 32.5 points. Diver Collier Dyer led the way with 20 individual points.
