A 30-year-old woman has died after a multi-vehicle crash in Grundy County Wednesday morning.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the intersection of West Gardner Road and South Johnny Run Road in Kinsman just before 9 a.m. Wednesday for reports of a crash.
When they arrived, they found a vehicle in a ditch, and another that had struck a house and another vehicle.
It is believed at this time a Honda sedan driven by a 30-year-old woman did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection, and it was struck by a Mercedes driven by a 60-year-old woman.
The Mercedes ended up in a nearby ditch, but the Honda proceeded approximately 500 feet down the road before it struck a home and then the rear of another vehicle in the driveway, authorities said.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
The driver of the Mercedes and another passenger were treated for minor injuries following the crash, which remains under investigation.
