ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The owner of Palette Express is speaking out online after fire investigators ruled a June fire at his Lyell Avenue business an arson.

Frank Cervini’s post on social media also comes as the City of Rochester filed a petition in court to get him to move out of the new Palette Express warehouse on Buffalo Road.

The city says that warehouse poses fire and safety risks. Cervini expressed anger on social media, claiming he was fully operational for two weeks before the city locked the doors, saying in part:
“The city wins. I’m moving out in the country somewhere.!!! after I just spent over $800,000 on my move around the corner,, trying to keep my business on the west side of the city, but politicians in the city want me gone, I get their drift, I’m just a tenant and they’re all over my [redacted].”
He continued, writing in part:
“Here I am the victim of an arson because of the lack of keeping the city safe”
