A 35-year-old man has died after a shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood Sunday morning.
According to Chicago police, the man was standing in the 4200 block of West Cermak at approximately 12:02 a.m. Sunday when a group of individuals approached him.
Police say one of those individuals then pulled out a weapon and shot the victim in the chest.
The victim as transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Area Four detectives are investigating, and no suspects are in custody.
