According to the Grundy County Animal Control, the wild cat has been sighted multiple times in rural areas near the community of Gardner, but attempts to trap the animal have thus far been unsuccessful.
Authorities have been in contact with the animal’s owner, and members of the public are asked not to approach the animal if it is spotted.
