Individual finalists Jack McMillan and Freya Colbert come in for Great Britain, who put out a strong team that also features Matt Richards, who scratched the 200 free two days ago, and Freya Anderson. There is no spot for individual bronze medalist James Guy, who clocked a 1:44.87 yesterday and split 1:44.07 in the men’s 4×200 free relay at the start of the week.

Lithuania swap out both of their men, with national record holder Danas Rapsys and individual silver medalist Tomas Navikonis coming in. Sylvia Statkevicius and women’s national record holder Ieva Jurkunaite remain as the two women’s legs, and they could take the race to Great Britain tonight. The men finished 5th in the 4×200 free relay on day 1, and Tomas Navikonis was a second faster individually than he split in that relay.

Germany swap out Timo Sorgius from the heats for Lukas Martens, who finished 7th in the individual final but clocked a 1:44.79 in the semi-finals. European junior champion Linda Roth also comes after splitting 1:56.33 on the women’s 4×200 free relay and placing 4th individually in 1:56.71.

Sweden go with the same four swimmers as this morning, with the hope being that national record holder Robin Hanson can be closer to that record of 1:45.91 than the 1:48.20 he posted this morning. Sofia Astedt had a big split to anchor the mixed 4×100 free yesterday as well and can be faster than her 2:00.73 from this morning. France also run it back, leaving Leon Marchand off tonight.

Spain’s team will not feature national record holder Luca Hoek Le Guenedal, who has a best of 1:46.10 and has been fantastic in the 100 free so far this week. They keep Miguel Perez-Godoy, moving him from second to leadoff, with Cesar Castro Valle coming in for Carlos Garach Benito. Ainhoa Campabadal Amezcua remains from the morning quartet, but Maria Daza Garcia is replaced by Alba Herrero Lazaro, who split 2:00.94 in the women’s 4×200 free.

Neutral Athletes B keep Kseniia Misharina in from this morning, but replace Andrei Cherepkov and Roman Akimov with Grigori Vekovishchev and Ivan Girev coming in. Daria Klepikova is also added after splitting 1:55.79 on the women’s 4×200 free relay, fastest in the field.

Italy leave off national record holder Carlos D’Ambrosio, replacing Marco De Tullio with Jacopo Barbotti instead. Bianca Nannucci swaps in for Matilde Biagiotti as Anna Chiara Mascolo is retained on the third leg.
