Bluey and her family have got a whole new look in the highly-anticipated movie, with a first trailer officially being released.
The Bluey Movie, which is set for release on 6 August 2027, revealed its first trailer at D23, showing Bluey and Bingo playing with a red balloon - before accidentally letting it touch the ground, and scooting on out of there.
But the trailer also reveals that the movie has changed up the animation, using a new 3D animation style for the beloved characters - which has already proven divisive among fans.
Some are loving Bluey's new look, with one fan writing on X (formerly Twitter): "MY GIRLS!! the #bluey movie looks so good, i'm impressed with the way they translated their 2D designs."
Others aren't convinced, with one more user writing: "The animation on the Bluey is so well-done and gorgeous that this will go down as one of the dumbest creative decisions in history. There’s no reason for Bluey to be 3D."

The film will be written and directed by series creator Joe Brumm, who previously said of the movie: "I really enjoyed the experience of working with a longer format on The Sign in Series 3, so going even further with a feature film feels like a natural extension of that.
"I’ve always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical movie. I want this to be an experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together. I’m excited to continue to partner with Cecilia Persson, Tom Fussell and the team at BBC Studios, and Dana Walden, Alan Bergman and Disney to bring this new Bluey story to the big screen."
Voice talent from the series including Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack will be featured and the score will be created by Joff Bush, who is also the composer on the series.
Richard Jeffrey, who has worked on Bluey seasons 1 to 3, will co-direct and Amber Naismith (Happy Feet, The Lego Movie) will serve as producer.
The Bluey Movie will be in cinemas from 6 August 2027.
Bluey is available to stream on Disney Plus. Sign up to Disney Plus from £4.99 per month.
