ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man will spend up to 10 years in prison after driving drunk and killing a bar security guard in Rochester.

    Leonel Yas Pena was sentenced Friday. Last June, Yas Pena hit and killed Henry “Hank” Brown on South Union Street, then took off. He was eventually arrested and charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of a deadly crash.

    Originally, Yas Pena pleaded not guilty to his charges. On Wednesday, Yas Pena withdrew his not guilty plea and pleaded guilty.

    Brown was a longtime doorman at the bar Salinger’s in Rochester’s East End.
