The Pakistani Foreign Minister condemned the Huthi attack on a non-combatant merchant ship, emphasizing that such attacks endanger innocent lives, constitute a violation of international law, and pose a severe threat to freedom of navigation, maritime security, and the safety of commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

    He added: “I have instructed our embassy in Riyadh to coordinate immediately with the relevant authorities and pursue all necessary measures vigorously to recover and repatriate the bodies of the deceased Pakistani nationals, while providing all possible assistance to the injured Pakistani citizen. We are monitoring the situation closely and will remain in tight coordination with the concerned authorities.”
