ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A prior felon pleaded guilty Wednesday to new drug and weapons charges.
Adonis Wiggins, 49, of Rochester, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
In October 2025, Rochester Police stopped Wiggins while he was driving for a suspended registration and then arrested him.
Federal prosecutors say during a search of the car, officers found cocaine, $700, a loaded semiautomatic pistol, marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia.
According to prosecutors, Wiggins was previously charged in 2002, 2004, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2023. As a result, prosecutors say he is legally prohibited from having a firearm and ammunition.
Wiggins is set to be sentenced in December. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000.
