ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a 13-year-old girl was stabbed and a 20-year-old woman was hurt during a reported fight on Otis Street Tuesday.
It happened at around 4:48 p.m. Tuesday. Police say they responded to Otis Street for a report of a 13-year-old stabbed. When they got there, they say they found the 13-year-old girl with a cut to her lower body.
According to police, witness reports suggest a group of people got into a fight and at some point the girl was hurt with an “edged weapon.”
Police say they later learned that a 20-year-old woman was also hurt during the fight by a small puncture wound to her upper body. Both were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital and are expected to survive.
No suspects are in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
