George and Amal Clooney are back in Lake Como with their children following a frightening few weeks.
The couple made a rare public appearance with their 9-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, on Monday, August 10, when the family attended a fundraising dinner benefiting the Clooney Foundation for Justice at Villa Passalacqua in Lake Como, Italy.

The family appearance also comes less than two weeks after George, Amal, and the twins were forced to evacuate their home in Brignoles, France, as wildfires threatened the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
At the time, the couple admitted they didn't know whether their property would survive the fires but made clear that their biggest concern was their community. “As we evacuate Brignoles we want to emphasise 2 things, first we hope you and the people of our city are safe and second that Amal and I are committed to making sure that whatever happens to our village, we are part of this community and we’ll be part of making it whole,” they wrote in a letter to Brignoles Mayor Didier Brémond.
