The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jeana Keough is undergoing treatment for tongue cancer.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, Keough's daughter Kara Bosworth, shared an update on her mom.
"Jeana finished her last radiation treatment yesterday, and we were informed that these next two weeks will be the roughest on her physically—as the chemo and radiation are compounding and her body will be at its weakest point," Bosworth wrote on the GoFundMe that's been set up to help Keough with her bills. "The radiation burns have now made it to the outer skin on her neck and even putting medicated cream on the area with the gentlest of touches causes her wincing pain."
Bosworth highlighted a couple of positive developments. First, her mom is no longer losing weight as she's being fed via a feeding tube, which Bosworth notes she can "feed her in the dark while she sleeps." Also, despite being in excruciating pain, Keough has been able to swallow small sips of water, which is an "important" aspect of her recovery.

Bosworth has asked the public for prayers as her mother embarks on the next steps in her cancer journey.
Though Keough hasn't posted to social media in recent weeks, her RHOC co-star Tamra Judge recently shared a photo of Keough along with some words of support.
"We love you, Momma Jeana," Judge wrote. "Keeping you in our prayers every step of the way. If you’re able to support her, the GoFundMe link is in my story and in my bio. Every donation, no matter the size, truly helps."
Keough will turn 71 in September.
