Food lovers, mark your calendars: San Diego Restaurant Week is back.
From Sept. 13-20, diners can experience eight delicious days of specially curated menus at more than 120 restaurants across 30-plus neighborhoods throughout San Diego County.
Whether you’re looking to finally try that restaurant you’ve been eyeing, revisit an old favorite or discover a hidden neighborhood gem, San Diego Restaurant Week offers one of the best opportunities of the year to explore the region’s iconic culinary scene. Participating restaurants will feature exclusive two-course lunch and three-course dinner menus starting at $30, making it easy to enjoy top dining experiences at an incredible value.
“San Diego Restaurant Week is all about bringing people together through delicious food while celebrating the incredible restaurants and hospitality professionals who shape our community,” said Joanna Pearce, California Restaurant Association’s San Diego chapter manager. “This September series is the perfect opportunity to explore new spots, revisit longtime favorites and support the local restaurant industry during an important season for businesses across the county.”
This fall, San Diego Restaurant Week will once again partner with Specialty Produce to highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients from local growers. Select participating restaurants will incorporate huitlacoche mushrooms or artisan romaine into their Restaurant Week menus, giving chefs the opportunity to showcase dishes inspired by the region’s rich agriculture while celebrating San Diego’s commitment to locally sourced cuisine.
More than simply a week of great meals, San Diego Restaurant Week also provides an important boost for the local restaurant community. Every reservation supports the chefs, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, farmers, distributors and countless small businesses that make San Diego’s food scene thrive.
With hundreds of menu options available throughout the week, diners can enjoy everything from elevated fine dining and tasting menus to neighborhood favorites. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged, as many participating businesses are expected to fill quickly throughout the week.
Participating restaurants and menus will continue to be announced leading up to the event, giving diners plenty of reasons to plan multiple outings during the week.
