Stacey Dooley is reportedly headed to the homes of celebrities in a new series of Sleeps Over on UKTV.
The Sun reports that a number of household names and families have signed up to the series, welcoming Dooley to spend a weekend at their home.
A source claimed: "Stacey's sleepovers are so popular with viewers and critics alike because the format allows her subjects to really open up, exposing the good and — let’s face it — sometimes the bad about their personality, relationships and lifestyle.
"It always makes for a raw and real take on whoever is hosting Stacey and it suits her style brilliantly. This will be her first celebrity series and it’ll be fascinating to see how the stars react under the format."
Radio Times has approached UKTV and Stacey Dooley's representatives for comment.
Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over first began in 2019, following Dooley as she aims to find out what life is like in modern Britain by spending 72 hours in the company of a wide range of extraordinary characters and families.
The series has released four seasons featuring UK contributors, as well as two seasons of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA.
The presenter previously described Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over as a "unique format", adding: "I think it’s healthy and necessary to hang out with people who you don’t always understand or agree with because, increasingly, we surround ourselves with people who nod along at the same time as us."
She continued: "As filmmakers, sometimes we can [think we're] tortured artists, [wanting] weeks and weeks and weeks [to film]. Actually, we're get there on a Friday, we leave on the Monday and we've never made a duff film yet."
Dooley has previously express her gratitude to the families who open their homes for TV, saying: "They're such good sports. If the telly called me and said, 'Stacey, we’d like to come and stay around your house. There’ll be five of use, there’ll be two cameras and we’ll be asking you deeply personal questions – are you up for it?'
"I’d be like, 'absolutely not', so I never, ever, ever take it for granted.… It’s never a given that [people] are going to allow us in."
